Search for a university and choose a major
The question that interests students is whether I enroll in a university or college and is there a difference between them? In fact, there is a difference:
The university is a large institution and offers undergraduate programs, undergraduate programs, undergraduate programs and above.
College, usually majoring in pre- and post-graduate programs. And when we say college, what we mean here is not an institute! Why ? Because institutes are institutions that enable you to obtain a diploma or certificate of competence in a particular specialty. But in Lithuania, colleges offer undergraduate programs and focus only on practical and theoretical aspects.
How do you choose a specialty?
The scope of your study is a matter in which we cannot interfere as this decision is personally reviewed by Ghelim as a student. It should be a decision you made on your own so that you are fully responsible for it. Plus you're the only one who knows what you want to study and what you don't want to study. This is on the one hand. On the other hand, if you want to study for a masters or doctorate, it is better to complete your studies in a discipline related to the field of graduation at the university.
As for students who will complete their studies in a bachelor's degree. That is, after obtaining the baccalaureate (high school diploma) they can choose several fields. But there may be exceptions, depending on the university, so you should always contact universities and ask them for their queries about the case and the major they are studying.
How to choose the right university
Choosing the most suitable university depends on the university's location and reputation as well as the costs of the study program you are studying. That is why Lithuania has prepared a digital platform, Study in LT, which enables foreign students from all regions of the world to learn about the universities, colleges and cities in which they are located. In addition to study programs, study costs and other details related to them.
You must use the official website to study in Lithuania. All you have to do is select the city, type of institution, college or university and you will be presented with all the options available. The official website for studying in Lithuania.

If you are accepted now, you pay the free tuition fee as it is necessary when applying for a visa (one year is sufficient). When you pay the visa application, it is enough just to hand the consulate the receipt of payment of costs, and you must tell the university to inform the consulate, that is, they send to the consulate a mediation letter that you registered with them and pay the registration costs. The university must give you the mediation letter number to submit with the papers to the consulate.
